The new year is upon us and we thought it would be great to put together a list of all the things you can do to keep yourself and your family safe and healthy this year.

In no particular order, here we go;

  1. Eat healthy
  2. Exercise regularly
  3. Wear a seatbelt
  4. Drive the speed limit
  5. Wear a mask
  6. Keep social distance
  7. Practice self care
  8. Quit smoking
  9. Drink alcohol sparingly
  10. Wear a bike helmet
  11. Drink more water
  12. Sit less – try a standing desk at work!
  13. Get plenty of sleep
  14. Limit your technology use as best you can
  15. Avoid stressful situations
  16. Wash your hands
  17. Get to know your family medical history
  18. Get a physical (annual checkup)
  19. Get vaccinated
  20. Pair up with a buddy when exercising or practicing self care
  21. Protect your skin by covering up or using sunscreen

Many of us set out on a path of healthier lifestyle at the start of the New Year and this year may be no different. We certainly encourage that. Small steps can make a HUGE impact on your health and well-being throughout the year. Remain consistent and you will see improvements very soon.
