In a study that will surprise almost no one, researchers discovered a link between low fat diets and the levels of breast cancer, colorectal cancer, and heart disease. The study, which spanned more then two decades, found that women who are postmenopausal greatly benefited from a low fat diet.
The study found that a reduction in dietary fat alone was not enough to have positive effects, but that it was necessary to reduce dietary fat while also consuming more vegetables, fruits and grains to see a marked effect on breast cancer reduction, colorectal cancer reduction, and heart disease reduction.
Study after study continues to find that a healthy and well-balanced diet often results in a happier and healthier life and life expectancy improvement.
