Signs and symptoms include:

  • Temporary loss of consciousness
  • Headache or head pressure
  • Amnesia surrounding an injury

  • Fatigue
  • Nausea and/or vomiting
  • Slurred speech
  • Delayed response to questions
  • Disorientation

The following symptoms may be immediate or delayed:

  • Concentration/memory issues
  • Irritability outside of normal behavior
  • Sleep disturbances
  • Light and/or noise sensitivity
  • Taste and/or smell disorders
  • Psychological adjustment issues and depression
